WE ALL TOGETHER CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE Sharing the Love and Compassion of Christ
It is in the heart of God to raise orphans and destitute children and we the founder members of ASHIRVAD are privileged to be involved in this humble task. We know that it is a task we could never accomplish without the helping hands of friends like YOU. In obedience to a call from God, founder Mrs. N. Sudhanjali established SOCIETY TO EMPOWER WOMEN ACTION (SEWA) in 2001. SEWA’s aim is to care for orphans, widows and poor families, thus showing in a practical way the love and compassion of GOD to the less privileged. We believe that, as the BIBLE says, our faith is to be seen not in words only, but also - and primarily - in deeds. This private non-governmental organization, registered with the government is a not for profit Christian organization which offers help and hope to children and families in crisis by providing services designed to promote the spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of Children, Women, Youth and Families.
ASHIRVAD Orphan Home which was started in 2003 is an Independent, Christian Charity home situated in Tuni town of East Godavari District of Andhara Pradesh State, South India that provides safe, stable, Christian home which helps boys and girls who have been neglected, misdirected, abandoned, abused, or caught up in family turmoil to maintain a family atmosphere that nurtures children ages between 5 to 15 and makes them feel at home as they get the much needed care they need ( Galatians 6:10 ). The organization is non-denominational and has no formal relationship with any one Church but seeks to interact with all churches as well as bodies and individuals who share the same vision. At ASHIRVAD we help the children regardless of their race, religion or sex especially in the areas of providing Food, Shelter, Clothing, Education, Medical care and subsistence to the needy children. ASHIRVAD also provides spiritual guidance and teach them the word of God, life skill and values based on Biblical principles. We do a lot more than just house these children, though. We ensure that they get good medical care, nourishing food, proper clothes, and education. We give them counseling, lots of love, attention, and a positive lifestyle. And we try to give them a childhood that is as normal as possible under the circumstances. But the most important thing we give them is HOPE. We teach them about Jesus Christ and how He died for them so that they may have Everlasting Life. In short, we provide for their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
