Do you like to work with children? Are you interested in giving children, who have been abandoned and abused a place of healing and hope? Would you like to support a ministry which provides a secure nurturing home for these children while introducing them to the love of God?
We all have felt the horror while viewing some particularly terrible things on the news. We have been saddened and worried by the pain and suffering spread throughout our world. We have learned to cry with those who cry and to rejoice with those who rejoice. A few of us have wondered how a God of love can stand by and watch the pain.
This is Christianity; dying with Christ, in order to be made alive in Him. Allowing Him to live in us. Through us, He wants to live for others. He needs you to fulfill His mission. Will you continue His work? This is what ASHIRVAD is all about.
Think of the street children, starving to death because we just don't have money to feed them. Think of the brother and sister losing each other forever, after having lost their parents. Children who are like any other children; beautiful, and lovely, and innocent need your love and care. Come and see their lives, ruined forever. Then you will know what you can do. Gifts - the money you would otherwise waste for unnecessary things, can make a difference. You can save the life of a child. You can be a part of our work: the important part, YOU can be the one who can make ASHIRVAD possible.
HOW YOU CAN HELP US
There are a number of practical things you can do to help.
First of all, if you are a Christian, we ask you to pray for our work here and for all the children in India.
If you are interested to sponsor, We can send you every month, on request, photos and news of the child they sponsor, and letters from the child if he or she is of school age and can write. ( Prov. 3 : 27 )
Or you may be able to make a one time donation of money or items to ASHIRVAD. You can send gifts that can be spent wherever needed in the orphanage. We also are in constant need of clothes, shoes and toys. Those of you who have children know that they quickly grow out of whatever they wear, and they also tend to wear things out much faster than us grown-ups.
If you keep aside US 7 $ a week, you can save 28 US $ a month which will give a child of ASHIRVAD the much needed LIFE & HOPE. So why don’t you start from today itself.
The orphanage has future plans of accommodating 200 orphan children and 100 Old Aged People by constructing a building for them to live.
For those interested in education, you could send a box full of pens and pencils, coloring books or other such things - anything suitable for children between 5 to 15 years.
At times we can use the help of voluntary workers, in particular skilled people who can help in teaching English and Training skills.
And if there is something else you feel you can do, why not send us a few lines? Do not worry whether you are the right person for the job - if you had the patience to read all of this, you probably are!
